FOREVER MINE Framed Wall Art - Merry Christmas!

Hello Friends,
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a BLESSED NEW YEAR in 2013!

I thought I would share with you a gift I made my Mom for her birthday which is Dec. 22. Between my sister and I we have 8 kids. I have 5 and she has 3. As far as I know we are both done….

So, I made this wall hanging that says “FOREVER MINE” for my Mom. It has each grandchild’s name on it.

We live about 2 hours apart but when she came for a visit to see my kids at their Christmas Concert, we gave her this gift. She really liked it. Now all she has to do is find a place where she can show it off. My guess is in her office….where everyone can see it.

What do you think? I couldn't put it in the actual frame as there was too much of a glare when taking the picture. In the black frame, it just pops out!

Here is her birthday card that went along with it.

I probably won’t post too much until the New Year as this is a precious time with family. So, in saying that, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Wishing you all well and happiness through the holiday season. May each one of you and your families be blessed abundantly and have a grand and safe time.

Thanks for stopping by!

WHO LOVES CAMPING?!!

Good Day Friends,
WHO LIKES CAMPING??
We love camping! We love it so much that we winter camp….I know crazy eh?...
We are members to this wonderful campground called Wilderness Village in Alberta, Canada. We love spending our summers there.
I made this card keeping that place in mind. The stamp set is called ‘The Great Outdoors”.
SSHHHHH! Don’t tell anyone but there is a gift card inside for a two night stay with us at this campground. (2 pools, 3 hot tubs, petting zoo, playground, fun shack, store, wagon rides, ice cream, ATV trails…BUT most of all US!)
I’m looking forward to making more with this stamp set as there are a few other stamps in this set I have yet to try. Like the tent, roasting a wiener, ant, flashlight, cooking pot and a lantern.
Have a fantastic day!

Smiles & Blessings,
Tammy

NO PEEKING!

Hello Friends,
It’s the weekend again. It seems the days go by faster and faster….lol…must be the age thing…
Anyways, I always seem to find time to do a few cards.
This is my first go around with NO PEEKING stamp set.
What do you think?
Here I thought I was almost complete in doing my Christmas cards….I guess not. But that’s okay because I love doing them. Today I mailed 63 Christmas cards…and still counting!
Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Card Left Overs & Ragged Quilt

Good Day Friends,
WOW, it’s already December! It’s so exciting. Christmas is just around the corner.
I’ve been busy making Christmas cards.
I had a Christmas Card class a couple of weeks ago and had a couple kits left over. So, rather than making the same card…..you know it….. I created another card with a few changes.
Here is the card from the class.
Here is the card from the same kit but a few changes.
Hope you like them!
Not only have I been busy making cards and I’ve been busy making a ragged quilt for my daughter. We love to go camping so I made her a special camping blanket. I have two more to go, one for my other daughter and one for my son. That will keep me busy.
What do you think? I have yet to wash it so it comes out looking ragged J
