Enjoy Your Summer!

Hello Friends,

This is a quick note to wish everyone a very happy, safe, healthy and fun filled summer!

I have so many projects to share with you as I`ve had 9 weeks of fun filled classes just pass. However, with summer just around the corner and school being let out soon, I won`t have time to sit down and share all the fun projects that I have until September.

So until then, have a blessed summer!

Be sure to explore my Stampin` Up! site (listed below) for specials and be sure to check out the new catalogue. I`ve already been exploring with lots of new product. I guess I`ll have to share that later too.

Smiles and Blessings,
Tammy

Who's Got Mail? - Postage Collection - Sneak Peek

Hello Friends,

Hope everyone had an excellent weekend! I know the title is kinda catchy....LOL

Today I’m going to share with you some cards I made using the new “Postage Collection” which is in the new 2013-2014 Stampin’ Up! catalogue. To boot, it’s a Hostess set….. ooooohhhhh……You can start ordering in the new catalogue starting June 1.

Anyways, here is a special card I made for my dad. He is one of the very special people in my life and I wanted to tell him how appreciated he is and how much he’s loved by his family.

Here is a similar card using the same set but this one is for dear friends of ours who just had an anniversary.

This one is for another special lady who loves pink and blue……I hope she liked this birthday card!

Until next time….keep smiling and blessings upon you and yours!

Thanks for stopping by!

This & That Journal - My Love Journal

Hi Friends,

The New “THIS& THAT JOURNAL” sounded like so much fun to participate in. I thought I would share with you what I’m going to do with mine.

This is going to be "My Love Journal" I will be basing this journal on the book, "FiveLove Languages" by Gary Chapman. It's going to be fun to explore knowing and creating the ‘Love Languages’ of my family... Do you know your LOVE LANGUAGE?

If you want to participate…..grab a journal (131268) and have fun…. Here’s a bit of information that you probably already know….but here’s a reminder and some thoughts to explore as you enter into your journal.

Most of us know that love is a choice. We act, say or give something to show that we love someone. We also receive it the same way. Some of us don’t feel it though. Why is that? It’s because we aren’t looking in the right places or we don’t see how others are showing their love for us.

This journal is to keep a personal record to see how I show love and to see how I receive love. It could be as simple as showing my love by smiling at someone or giving them a gift or doing the dishes.

It’s also to be aware of how others are showing me love. It may not be the way I would like to receive love but it’s to be grateful for those who are around me as they express their love for me the only way they know how. This way if I am consciously looking for it, I will then be more grateful and perhaps ‘feel’ the love. Then I can give it away more freely as my ‘love tank’ will be filling up. (More information is provided in the book. You can also take the quiz to find out your ‘LoveLanguage’ in the back of the book or online at Gary Chapman’s site.)

Don’t forget to share what your ‘Love Language’ is. For those who want to know….mine is ‘Words Of Affirmation’. So don’t forget to leave a comment J

There will be days where you won’t want to show your love in certain ways that others may expect. So on those days, it could be showing your love by not saying anything at all. Sometimes we say things that we regret so by saying nothing could be very powerful. But keep conscious about it as you don’t want to fill up with bitterness. Remember to forgive quickly and perhaps that might be your way of showing love too.

Grab a copy of this wonderful book, “The Five Love Languages” and start exploring what your Love Language is as well as the Love Languages in your family. They will LOVE you for it!

I will try to share with you some of the pages that I create to give you an idea or inspire you to do your own take on it.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. 6 It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Thanks for stopping by!

In Honor Of Single Moms!

Hello Friends,

I thought I would share with you a card I made for a couple of special people in my life. In honor of Mother’s Day, I did make my mom a card ‘Amore’ with the black ribbon on the previous post. For this post, I want to share with you a card I made for a couple of single Mom’s out there! It’s not easy being a single Mom so in honor of that; here is what I made them.

On the inside of the card, I used a stamp that said “You’re An Awesome” “MOTHER” then I added with my words….. “ And don’t let anyone tell you different!”

We need to continue to encourage everyone around us. Even the ‘strong’ need encouraged and hugged!

Smiles & Blessings,
Tammy

Monsters & Aliens ..... Owls??

Hello Friends,

Hope you are enjoying the sunny spring weather. I know I am. We are getting excited for the camping season to start!

My son has been invited to few birthdays this past while. I thought I would share with you the cards I made for his friends.

This is where I started out with the monster card…..Don’t you love the different uses of the OWL PUNCH!

Then my son was just invited to another birthday for twins. I thought I would make another card using the OWL PUNCH and rather than giving the twins the same card…..I twisted the OWL PUNCH and made aliens.

What do you think?

Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by!

Smiles & Blessings,
Tammy
